Hillcrest Farmers Market Marks Ten Years
The Hillcrest Farmers Market celebrated its tenth anniversary on Saturday, with more than forty local vendors and an estimated 3,000 visitors attending the special event. What began in 2016 as a small weekend market with eight stalls has grown into one of the city's most popular weekly attractions.
Organizers announced on Saturday that, starting next spring, the market will also open on Wednesday evenings at a second location in the Riverside district, in response to requests from residents who cannot visit on weekends.
The market is known for its fresh produce, baked goods, and handmade crafts. Admission is free, and parking is available at the community center next to the market site.
